Event # 11 No Limit Hold’em 1646 entries $2,000 buy in. Congratulations to Anthony Harb on winning his first WSOP bracelet and $569,254. Anthony Harb battled through this field of 1,646 players with many big names such as Phil Hellmuth, Tom McEvoy, Neil Channing, and T.J. Cloutier. Peter Rho was runner up taking home $350,019. Hey everyone, time for a new WSOP update as of 11:49 PM ET

Event # 7 No Limit Hold’em 2,791 entries $1500 buy in. Travis Johnson takes home the title and the bracelet. Travis Johnson was a prominent figure throughout play today as he got the better of some big pots early on against Gary Tang and Michael Pesek, and rode the wave all the way to the final table. He continued to apply pressure on his opponents, and his aggressive approach finally got him over the line against a valiant Steve Karp($414,116) in a tough heads-up battle. Travis Johnson will take home an incredible $666,853 for his efforts, and of course, the coveted bracelet.

Event # 8 Deuce to Seven Lowball No Limit 147 entries $2500 buy in. Phil Ivey takes home the title and the bracelet. Phil Ivey came into today looking for his sixth gold WSOP bracelet. Just over three and a half hours ago, only John Monnette stood in Ivey’s way. After a couple hours of heads-up play, Monnette was dwindled down and severely short stacked as Ivey stormed to a massive chip lead. But then, Monnette rallied back with two big double ups to take back the lead. Ivey buckled down though, and grinded his way back to a 3:2 chip lead when the final hand came up. Ivey bested a field of 147 entrants that included some of the biggest names in poker to win his sixth bracelet and further cement his name in poker history. Phil was the crowd favorite and received an outstanding round of applause when it was all said and done. The win netted Ivey $96,361 in prize money and likely earned him a little extra pocket change from sidebets. At the conclusion of the event, Ivey snapped some quick photos with the bracelet and then jetted off down the hall to continue playing the $10,000 Mixed World Championship.
